Cyclops & The Thing Join the Marvel Cosmic Invasion Roster

X-Men’s Cyclops and The Fantastic Four’s The Thing have joined the Marvel Cosmic Invasion character roster.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a co-op side-scrolling beat ’em up developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu. Players control a set of iconic Marvel heroes to work together and stop a galaxy-wide invasion by the villain Annohilus. Featuring 15 playable characters with various playstyles, the game has RPG level-up mechanics, cosmetic options, and drop-in co-op. It feels like a return to the era of arcade classics and will remind fans of old-school games like the 1992 X-Men arcade game.

Cyclops and The Thing is the first DLC pack available for the game, with DLC pack #2 being released in Fall 2026.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is available now for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Linux & Windows PCs.
