The Vampire Lestat, the third season of Interview with the Vampire, premieres this June, and AMC has shared a new extended look trailer for the series.
AMC’s Interview with the Vampire is a gothic horror movie based on Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles series. Set in a world where vampires secretly live among us, the story follows one of them, Louis de Pointe du Lac, as he exposes them by detailing his life after being turned into a vampire by Lestat de Lioncourt, with The Vampire Lestat giving Lestat’s point of view as well as a glimpse at a world that now knows vampires exist. AMC’s series stars Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid and fully explores the queer themes of the books, which were left out of the previous adaptation of Anne Rice’s novels.
The AMC series is the second adaptation of Interview with the Vampire, the first being the 1994 film of the same name directed by Neil Jordan, with a screenplay by Anne Rice, and starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Kirsten Dunst.
The Vampire Lestat will premiere June 7th on AMC and AMC+, where you can check out previous seasons of the show.
