Cuphead is a run and gun game developed and published by Studio MDHR. In Cuphead, players take control of Cuphead, Mugman who, after losing a bet to the Devil, agree to collect debts for him, exploring an imaginative world stylized like the golden age of American animation. The game was immensely well-received, winning awards and fan acclaim. The game would later go on to get an animated adaption called THE CUPHEAD SHOW, which follows the hijinks of Cuphead, his brother Mugman, and their friend Ms. Chalice.
