A Newly Announced Lupin III Isekai Spin-off Manga Releases Next Week!

The world’s greatest thief has a whole new playground to explore in Lupin III: Isekai no Himegimi (Lupin III: Neighbor World Princess). Announced in Akita Shoten Weekly Shonen Champion, which also revealed that the series will begin serialization on August 26th.

Currently celebrating the 50th anniversary of the anime series, Lupin III began as a manga series created by Kazuhiko Katō (better known by his pen name Monkey Punch). The series follows the adventures of master thief Arsène Lupin III, the grandson of Arsène Lupin, the main character of Maurice Leblanc’s series of novels. It has gone on to be one of the most iconic anime series ever made. Released worldwide in multiple languages since the 1970s, it has numerous anime series, theatrical & TV movies, OVAs, music CDs, and more.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Lupin III: Part 6 will premiere in October 2021. It will be directed by Eiji Suganuma and written by Takahiro Ohkura, with music by Yuji Ohno. It will be produced by TMS Entertainment.

Lupin III: Isekai no Himegimi will premiere Akita Shoten Weekly Shonen Champion number 39 on August 26th. You can watch Lupin’s previous adventures by heading to Crunchyroll and Funimation.
