Higurashi: When They Cry – NEW Season 1 Part 1 is being released on Blu-ray this October and it is sure to be a bloody-good collectible.

Higurashi: When They Cry – NEW Season 1 Part 1 includes episodes 1-13 of the series, promo videos, commercials for the series, and textless versions of the opening and closing themes.

Higurashi When They Cry is a Japanese murder mystery visual novel series that focuses on a group of young friends living in rural Japan, and how they handle a set of bizarre & bloody events during 1983. The series has gotten a lot of praise and includes several games, manga, novels, drama CDs, and anime adaptions/spin-offs. There are even Higurashi live-action movies. Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou premiered in 2020 and is a partial retelling of the original story with a new mystery included. Higurashi: When They Cry – Sotsu premiered on July 1, 2020.
