‘Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon’ Is Getting A Manga Adaption From Zettai Karen Children’s Takashi Shiina

It begins its run next month!

Anime News Network reports that a manga adaption of Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, the Inuyasha spin-off/sequel series, is in the works from Zettai Karen Children creator Takashi Shiina.

The manga will launch on September 25th in the November issue of Shogakukan’s Shonen Sunday S Magazine. To celebrate the news, Shiina created an illustration of the main characters of Yashahime: Prince Half-Demon alongside the characters from Zettai Karen Children. Zettai Karen Children finished its story this July.

The next journey in a beloved feudal fairy tale. The Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon anime series is directed by Teruo Sato, with the main character designs by Inuyasha’s original creator Rumiko Takahashi, the anime character designs by Yoshihito Hishinuma, and animation by Sunrise. The music was composed by Kaoru Wada, with its screenplay by Katsuyuki Sumisawa.
