A highly anticipated release is almost here, as the Half-Life Fan remake Black Mesa has gotten a release date!
Black Mesa: Xen Trailer
Originally a planned mod for Half-Life, Black Mesa became a full-fledged project to remake the classic game. Coming from the Crowbar Collective, the game includes not only visual upgrades but improved/inventive gameplay refinement, as compared to the original game.
Fans have waited a long time for Black Mesa to leave Steam Early Access, and while that wait is finally coming to a close, the game’s team says its not the end for them or the game.
“Black Mesa is a video game, it is our video game, and it has its strengths, and its flaws. As Leonardo da Vinci said, “Art is never finished, only abandoned” and while we plan to fully support this game after 1.0 with bug fixes and more, it will never be a perfect game.”
The Crowbar Collective via Steam
Black Mesa 1.0 will be available March 5th on Steam.
