Get ready to suit up, ya apes! Full featured animated movie, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars, has released a trailer showing off all the action the original movie was loved for. It is going to be a battle to get the tickets for its single night showing:
The film will only be in a select theaters for a single night, August 21st, before being distributed wide scale in 2018. The one night event showing will include behind the scenes footage and interviews from the cast. Tickets will be available for purchase on the Fathom Event site June 19th.
This comes ahead of the possible reboot of the franchise, but don’t think they are forgetting their roots. Casper Van Dien (whom played Johnny Rico) and Dina Meyer (Who portrayed Dizzy Flores) are returning to voice their characters, alongside Starship Troopers film writer Ed Neumeier. The plot follows a demoted Rico guiding a team of rookies against the latest bug attack!
