Pre-Orders Close Soon For The Official Furby Bishoujo Statue

It has been a unique journey for Furbys. Debuting in 1998, it went from a best-selling toy to a niche collector’s item, and now an iconic eldritch beast that somehow is adorable while tapping into the nightmares we long buried; the many forms of the owl-like robot toy have been inspiring, with fans curating spaces devoted to creating variants. Next year, Hasbro is teaming up with collectibles creator Kotobukiya to release a new Bishoujo statue showing what they think a humanoid Furby would look like.

“After more than 20 years, Hasbro’s popular toy Furby makes a surprise appearance in the BISHOUJO series!

The figure is brought to life in sick Y2K style, featuring a large jacket that recreates Furby’s characteristic fluffy texture, along with a belt and boots that recreate the texture of enamel!

The back of the jacket features a patch-like design of Furby’s face!

The figure gives off a totally hype vibe!

The sunglasses, inspired by Furby’s infrared sensor, are incredibly stylish!

They can be freely attached and removed, allowing the figure to be enjoyed in any preferred style!

A mini figure of Furby itself is also included!
The sculpt is totes adorbs, faithfully recreating Furby’s fluffy texture.

The left and right eyelids can be opened and closed, so you can enjoy communicating with Furby!”

The Furby Bishoujo statue is sculpted by MRScapsule, with its companion mini Furby sculpted by harume. Showing a stylish and excited woman in a fur coat styled like a Furby with a patch-like design of one’s face, knee-high high-heeled platform boots, and a large belt that reads Furby on the buckle, she is accompanied by a Furby watching on.

Kotobukiya’s Bishoujo line reimagines characters as anime girls. This is far from the first time that Hasbro and Kotobukiya have teamed up, with previous collaborations including My Little Pony and Transformers.

The Hasbro Furby Bishoujo Statue will be released in April 2027. Secure your order by pre-ordering before August 18, 2026, over at Kotobukiya.
