Comedy Central is celebrating ‘South Park’ Day 2025 with an all-day marathon, comic-con interviews, and a special airing of the first episode

August 13th of this year marks the 28th anniversary of South Park‘s premiere. The show’s home network, Comedy Central, is celebrating with an all-day marathon, playing fan favorite episodes from across the series’ 27 seasons, Comic-Con videos, special videos, and a special airing of the show’s first episode.

South Park was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The series follows four elementary school-age boys and the surreal, profanity-laden lives they live in the small town of South Park, Colorado. The show has become a cultural icon inspiring numerous other shows and remaining a must-watch for many people to this day.

It has gained recent attention for its ridicule of the Trump administration.

The South Park Day marathon will be aired on Comedy Central on August 13th. You can stream the series on Paramount+.
