‘Beyond the Boundary’ heads to Blu-ray this December

Anime series Beyond the Boundary is getting a complete series Blu-ray release this December, letting anime fans take home the fan-favorite series!

“As the last surviving member of her clan, Mirai Kuriyama was born with the ability to control her blood and wield it as a weapon, a power so terrifying she’s been cursed and cast out for the rest of her days. Akihito Kanbara’s blood is only half human, and while the healing abilities of the monstrous half of his lineage let him recover from any wound, it also dooms him to eternal life alone. Perhaps it’s more than just chance that has brought them together, for there are few bonds in creation as enduring as those written in blood. Now, in a world where the creatures of legend are real and nightmarish monsters tread the earth, they will seek out their destiny together in the complete collection of BEYOND THE BOUNDARY”

Beyond the Boundary is based on a series of Japanese light novels by Nagomu Torii, with illustrations by Tomoyo Kamoi. It tells the story of a girl who, with her ability to control blood, sets out to defeat evil spirits secretly plaguing the world, and her half-human classmate who helps her. The series would later get an anime adaption, an OVA, an ONA, and a feature film.

The Complete Series release includes all 12 episodes in English and Japanese with English Subtitles, textless versions of the opening and closing animations, Beyond The Boundary Idol Trial! ~ They Who Judge You Even Though They Waver ~, Japanese promos, Japanese trailer, ‘Future Star’ Dance Music Video, and a textless version of the Dance Music Video closing animation.

Beyond the Boundary Complete Series Blu-ray will be available on December 6, 2022. You can pre-order it now from Sentai Filmworks.
