Classic comedy manga series Lucky★Star will be returning later this after a hiatus that began in 2014. The news was revealed on the Twitter page for doujin circle C2 Präparat Inc. (C2 Kikan), the folks who created Kantai Collection!
Lucky Star will return & be serialized in Kadokawa’s Mitaina! magazine’s third volume, available on November 10th.
Lucky Star (stylized as Lucky★Star) is a four-panel comedy manga series by Kagami Yoshimizu that began in 2003. The series follows the lives of high school girls, mostly the lazy & nerdy Konata Izumi, and shows their bizarre everyday lives. The series quickly went on to become a global sensation and a pillar of the anime fandom with the release of an anime series, light novels, OVAs, spinoffs, video games, and more. The manga hiatus started in 2014.
The exciting return of a classic series! No word yet on a western release. You can catch up on the series by grabbing the available manga volumes over on Viz.com or your local comic/book shops.
