Volume 15 of ‘Urusei Yatsura’ releases later this month!

Volume 15 of the English version of Urusei Yatsura will be released later this month, continuing the overtop alien romance action.

“Lum is finally going on another date with Ataru! But while she’s waiting for him to show up, an eccentric young man arrives to claim that he fell in love with her at first sight. Normally Lum wouldn’t care, but Ataru is late for their date! Later, Mendo receives a mysterious New Year’s card that says, “I know your secret.” Mendo doesn’t have any secrets, but that doesn’t stop him from vowing to track down the culprit! Now he just needs to find a way to analyze the handwriting of every guy at Tomobiki High…”

Urusei Yatsura began as a manga series by Rumiko Takahashi (the creator of Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha) in the 1970s. A science-fiction `romantic comedy, it tells the story of Japanese high school student Ataru Moroboshi and the alien princess Lum, to who he accidentally proposes marriage. It received an anime adaption that ran in the 1980s, several films, and video games.

It is set to receive a new anime adaption this October.
