‘Pompo the Cinephile’ Heads To Theaters This April!

GKIDS Films has announced that Pompo the Cinephile will be heading to North American theaters this April, letting anime fans enjoy the funny and emotional tale of making a feature film!

Pompo: The Cinéphile is based on a manga series by Shogo Sugitani. It tells the story of a new director working on the first series film to come from his boss, the talented Pompeo. The anime film was written & directed by Takayuki Hirao, with music by Kenta Matsukuma, and produced by CLAP.

Pompo the Cinephile will be in theaters on April 27 & 28. Stay tuned to GKIDS films to learn more and to see where it will be shown near you.
