Fans of the anime adaption of JUJUTSU KAISEN have a bit of a wait ahead of them as season 2 has officially been announced for 2023 in a new illustration from the manga’s creator Gege Akutami.

“The second season of the TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” will be broadcast in 2023!
Furthermore, to celebrate the big hit of the movie version and the decision to broadcast the second period, congratulatory illustrations and comments have arrived from the original author, Gege Akutami.

Jujutsu Kaisen began as a manga series in 2018 and is written by and illustrated by Gege Akutami. It was later adapted into an anime series in 2020. It follows high school student Yūji Itadori, who is tasked with helping to eliminate a powerful curse. The series has gotten much praise for its action and writing.
Season 2 is highly anticipated, and with a 2023 release date, fans know how long they are going to wait.
