@Anime NYC 2021 – Crunchyroll Announces New Additions To Their 2022 Lineup!

An exciting experience for attendees of the amazing Anime NYC!

Crunchyroll delighted anime fans at this year’s Anime NYC with the announcement that the highly anticipated SPY x FAMILY anime adaption will be heading to the platform in 2022, alongside several other exciting series, as well as a special preview of Blade Runner: Black Lotus episode 3!

A spy has to make a fake family for a special mission. What can go wrong?

SPY x Family anime adaption will be heading to Crunchyroll in 2022. An action-comedy about a master spy who needs to have a family for his latest mission. Things become a bit more complicated when he unknowingly marries a skilled assassin and adopts a telepathic little girl!

SPY X FAMILY is adapted from the manga of the same name by Tatsuya Endo and published by Shueisha. The anime adaption is directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, with music by [K]NoW_NAME, and animation by Wit Studio and CloverWorks.

A Special Preview of Blade Runner: Black Lotus Episode 3!

Fans were treated to a special preview clip of Blade Runner: Black Lotus, a 13-episode anime series set in the world of Blade Runner. It is directed by Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiya, with Shinichiro Watanabe serving as a creative director. The series is produced by Alcon Entertainment and Sola Digital Arts.

A thrilling lineup of titles heading to the popular streaming platform in 2022. It will be a fun time for fans of anime over at Crunchyroll!

But that wasn’t all that the anime brand brought to Anime NYC. The Crunchyroll booth offered free goodies and interactive experiences to the convention.

A ttendees could take next to the ODDTAXI taxi, inside the Blade Runner’s black lotus, and see a mural devoted to One Piece!

Crunchyroll thrilled the anime community at this year’s convention. Can’t wait to see what they bring next year!
