I did as I do at every convention while walked the floor of Anime NYC 2021, I took a peek at each booth for what would make for fun articles for you guys, hidden gems and unique finds, and of course, maybe a few buys for myself. But suddenly, I found myself stopped in my tracks when I locked eyes with a painting. Depicted was a girl, her expression unreadable. It came off both sad and content. Her gaze felt piercing yet familiar. Before I knew it, my course past this booth had been changed, and I now stood directly in front of it. This is the power of fine artist Eddy Lee and his mysterious woman portraits.
The work on display all showed different mysterious women. Paintings that look at the viewer like they see the real you, each is created through an expert use of colors, alongside beautiful scenery, and earthy wooden tones.
