The upcoming Chucky TV series has gotten a new poster teasing it as “A Classic Coming of Rage Story.”

USA Network / SYFY

Chucky will focus on a “vintage Chucky doll” discovered in a yard sale, before a suburban town’s peaceful surface life is made into chaos with a terrible series of murders that begin to expose the resident’s secrets. Fans of the Chucky franchise can reportedly expect allies and enemies from Chucky’s past to arrive, set to reveal the nature of the ever demonic doll.

The original Child’s Play franchise first started in 1988, going on to get six sequels and a poorly received 2019 reboot. The Chucky series comes from Child’s Play creator Don Mancini and is SYFY’s first outing with the character since they got the TV rights to the movies and will also be aired on the USA network. The series stars Zackary Arthur, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Devon Sawa, Björgvin Arnarson, Jennifer Tilly, Teo Briones, Christine Elise McCarthy, and Alex Vincent, with Brad Dourif returning as the voice of Chucky.

Chucky premieres on October 12th.
