The return of a 90’s icon is apparently the gift to 90’s kids this holiday season with the announcement of a new animated special staring Steve Urkel titled: Did I Do That to the Holidays? A Steve Urkel Story.

Warner Bros.

Steve Urkel first appeared as a side character in the 90’s family sitcom Family Matters. A bumbling genius, Urkel was played by Jaleel White and quickly went on to become a cultural icon and the show’s main character. Urkel was recently featured in Scooby-Doo and Guess Who.

Did I Do That to the Holidays? A Steve Urkel Story is a part of Cartoon Networks’ new ACME Night, a new programming block that will feature family-friendly movies and specials, including Detective Pikachu, Scoob!, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. New animated titles making their debut on ACME Night includes Merry Little Batman, Batman: Caped Crusader, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, and Aquaman: King of Atlantis.

ACME Night premieres on September 19th @ 6pm ET/PT on Cartoon Network and will air every Sunday. Did I Do That to the Holidays? A Steve Urkel Story will premiere later this year.
