Star Trek: Picard season two has gotten a new teaser and it shows Picard and his allies dealing with the return of the iconic Q.

Fans have been eager for the return of John de Lancie’s Q for years, the character growing to be one of the franchise’s fan-favorite characters. So when it was announced that he would be making a return for Star Trek: Picard season 2, it was cherished news.

Star Trek: Picard follows the ongoing journey of Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Captain Jean-Luc Picard, roughly 30 years after the end of TNG. In Picard season one he sets out to confront a conspiracy threatening the Federation. The series features Patrick Stewart returning as the much-loved character alongside fellow Star Trek veteran actor Jeri Ryan reprising her role as Seven of Nine.

Season two is teasing a plot involving time travel and time itself being “broken.”

Star Trek: Picard season two premieres exclusively on Paramount+ in 2022. Paramount+ is also home to the first season alongside every Star Trek series (including the amazing Star Trek: Lower Decks), meaning you can catch up or give it a rewatch before the return of Q.
