Netflix has released the official Red Band trailer for the second season of its sci-fi adult animated anthology series Love, Death & Robots, and it looks like it will be another wild ride of emotions, brilliant storytelling, and robots!

Love, Death, & Robots was created by Tim Miller and produced by Miller alongside Jennifer Miller, Joshua Donen, and David Fincher, and was a “re-imagining” of the planned reboot of 1981’s Heavy Metal. Each episode takes place in a different setting with different characters, the only thing connecting them being the titular theme of Love, death, and robots (though not all three themes are always present).

Volume 2 promises to be just as bizarre, absurd, imaginative, and relatable as the first season.

Love, Death + Robots Volume 2 premieres on Netflix on May 14th.
