Xbox Wants Fans to Help Create A ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ Arcade-Style Game!

Space Jam: A New Legacy, the sequel to the 1996 classic Space Jam, is set to be released next year, and Xbox wants fans to help to create an arcade-style game for it, as announced in a new video starring LeBron James and Bugs Bunny.

“Two lucky winners will have their ideas brought to life in the official Space Jam: A New Legacy arcade-style video game, available as the newest Perk for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in June 2021. Winners will also receive the following prizes: their names featured in the game credits; an exclusive winner’s bundle with signed and authenticated LeBron James memorabilia, Space Jam: A New Legacy merchandise and Nike VIP packs, and a personalized Xbox Series S console; a private friends and family screening of the film; and a virtual Microsoft coding workshop for their local community.”

Space Jam: A New Legacy sees LeBron James teaming up with the Looney Tunes cast to rescue his son from digital versions of other popular NBA and WNBA stars.

Space Jam was originally released in 1996 and followed Michael Jordan helping Bugs Bunny play basketball against a group of space aliens who aim to abduct the Looney Tunes. The film is considered a cult classic and currently sits warmly in the hearts of 90’s kids everywhere.
