Dr. STONE Season 2 Gets New Trailer And January 2021 Release Date

The second season of anime series Dr. STONE has gotten a January 14, 2021 premiere date alongside a new trailer from Crunchyroll, and it promises more science based action!

“Several thousand years after a mysterious phenomenon that turns all of humanity to stone, the extraordinarily intelligent, science-driven boy, Senku Ishigami, awakens. Facing a world of stone and the total collapse of civilization, Senku makes up his mind to use science to rebuild the world. Starting with his super strong childhood friend Taiju Oki, who awakened at the same time, they will begin to rebuild civilization from nothing… Depicting two million years of scientific history from the Stone Age to present day, the unprecedented crafting adventure story is about to begin!”

Based on the manga written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, the series has become s community favorite for its unique story and science based themes. It’s first season started in 2019 before finishing in January of this year.

Dr. STONE season 2 will premiere on January 14, 2021, on Crunchyroll. It joins their line up of amazing anime and original series.
