Crunchyroll Games Is Releasing “Princess Connect! Re: Dive” Worldwide In Early 2021!

Crunchyroll Games has announced plans to bring the mega-hit mobile RPG Princess Connect! Re: Dive to gamers around the world next year, making it a very exciting time for RPG fans!

Done in collaboration with Cygames (the game developer behind Granblue Fantasy) and Funplex, (who released the world’s first social media game for mobile devices) Princess Connect! Re: Dive was released in 2018 in Japan. A real-time action role-play game, players group up in parties of up to five to take on the game’s various modes as well as other player groups. It received praise for its fun gameplay, stunning in-game animations created by iconic anime studios, and talented voice work coming from talented actors including M•A•O (Iris in Fire Force, Shion in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), Miku Ito (Kokoro Tsurumaki in BanG Dream!, Miku Nakano in Quintessential Quintuplets), and Rika Tachibana (Reiko Arisugawa in Shomin Sample, Lucia in Street Fighter V, and Momoko Futo in Joshi Kausei).

The game quickly became a favorite in Japan, reaching the #1 spot on the app store. It was later released in China by Bilibili in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese. The popular game went on to also receive Korean and Thai translations.

Princess Connect! Re: Dive also went on to be adapted into an anime series by CygamesPictures.

In the beautiful land of Astraea where a gentle breeze blows, a young man named Yuuki awakens with no memory of his past. There he encounters a guide who has sworn to care for him—Kokkoro, a lovely swordswoman who’s always feeling peckish—Pecorine, and a cat-eared sorceress with a prickly attitude—Karyl. Led by fate, these four come together to form the “Gourmet Guild.” And so their adventure begins…

Princess Connect! Re: Dive will be available on iOS and Android in early 2021 and is now open for pre-registration. All players who pre-register will receive 1,000 Jewels as an in-game gift to celebrate the game’s launch, with the number of Jewels gifted increasing based on how many players register:

• 10,000 pre-registrations -> 150 Jewels
• 30,000 pre-registrations -> 300 Jewels
• 50,000 pre-registrations -> 450 Jewels
• 100,000 pre-registrations -> 750 Jewels
• 150,000 pre-registrations -> 1,050 Jewels
