This Fan Video of Elmo Singing ‘Cruel Angel’s Thesis’ Is Just Pure Perfection

Elmo is going through a phase...

Sesame Street’s Elmo has been around since 1980, and since his introduction has become a staple in the lives of children, taking many forms and eventually even getting his own late (but not too late) night talk show earlier this year. Well, one fan has combined the pop culture icon with one of anime’s most respected opening themes, Cruel Angel’s Thesis from Neon Genesis Evangelion, and it just perfect.

Elmo was going through a whole mood in this, and we love it! The video comes from Kevin Temmer, who works as a professional animator, songwriter, and composer. It is just the latest in his series of Elmo videos, which include an amazing rendition of Toto’s “Africa.”
