“Violet Evergarden’s” Second Movie Gets New Release Date

The movie was supposed to originally release in April.

Following delays due to COVID-19, the second theatrical film based on anime series Violet Evergarden has gotten a gorgeous trailer and updated release date.

Originally slated for an April 24, 2020 release, the film will now be released on September 18th. It’s being produced by Kyoto Animation. There is no news on a western release as of yet. You can stay tuned to the official site for more.

Its first film, “Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll,” was released on September 6, 2019.

You can see the emotional journey of Auto Memory Doll Violet, as she tries to discover her role in a post-war world, by watching Violet Evergarden, streaming now on Netflix.
