Doki Doki Literature Club Developer Reveals New Content On The Way

It was only in 2017 that developer, Team Salvato, released Doki Doki Literature Club to much fanfare from gamers. Applauded for its use of tropes and genre to provide what is a truly lasting horror experience, fans wanted more. Well, the developer has recently spoken up on twitter about plans they have for the game.

This will be the year I reclaim my happiness so I can deliver it to others! My goal is to fully return to doing things I enjoy, such as making games. First releasing new DDLC content (not a sequel), then blowing the dust off my next original VN which has been on hold for 2 years.

This is exciting news for those who wanted more of Salvato’s style of storytelling. The promise of new content for the game, in addition to a new visual novel, should make this a series of updates you want to track.
