New Japanese McDonald’s Commercial Is An Anime Masterpiece

Some anime fans are not sure how exactly to look at fast-food giant McDonald’s following the release of their latest holiday commercial in Japan. It is so gorgeously animated that you may forget that it is a commercial, until the giant McDonald’s sign shows up.

Telling the tale of three childhood friends reuniting under the falling snow, their friendship still strong despite the years that have passed. They celebrate their companionship by eating at McDonald’s. Since its release on December 3rd, it has gained 5.5 million views. This may be one of the most magical commercials to ever commercial, who else wished this was a full series?
