The latest Animal Crossing which we now know to be titled Animal Crossing: New Horizons was finally shown at this year’s Nintendo Treehouse E3 2019 Direct. The game trailer shown showcased new features brought to the game that were previously things you would have had to mod the game to include. Creation of pathways, improved weather effects, and a new life of living on an island as opposed to a town or village.
The E3 Treehouse Direct Trailer:
After the Direct we were shown gameplay of New Horizons from game director Aya Kyogoku and producer Hisashi Nogami where excited fans got to learn about the “Do-It-Yourself” (DIY) mode the game will have where you can craft your own furniture much like in the mobile Animal Crossing game. But instead of broad materials, you can collect things like twigs to create bonfires. They also added the highly demanded feature of being able to place furniture outside, as well as being able to set up your tent on the beach.
So far this version of Animal crossing is looking very promising and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Unfortunately, it is delayed until March 20, 2020 as they wanted more time to include newer features.
But it definitely looks worth the wait!
