Jacob and Cristian Mathias, the former runners of and, have had to face litigation following a cease and desist order by Nintendo this past summer. But high prices like this are meant as deterrents to others.

The year has been filled with Rom sites shutting down either by Nintendo’s threats of legal action or because of the fear of that legal action.
