Activision-Blizzard Makes Broadcast Deal With Disney To Air Live Coverage Of Overwatch League Starting Tonight

Tonight begins one of the biggest broadcast deals ever made in gaming, as Disney’s ESPN has signed a deal with Activision-Blizzard to provide the live TV coverage for the Overwatch League.

This coverage deal begins tonight (July 11th) with the Overwatch League Playoffs. Tonights matches will be viewable on Disney XD and ESPN as well as the DisneyNOW app and the ESPN app.

This shows the continued growth in popularity that Esports has had, specifically Overwatch. This is just one of many Esports deals that ESPN has managed to make in past years.
