Recently we covered how Gorillaz bassist and founder, Murdoc Niccals was still in jail and seemed to have been replaced with Ace from the Powerpuff Girls.

Well, Ace got his first on-screen appearance in a music video released today for the song Humility, taken from their upcoming album THE NOW NOW.
Seen popping a basketball with a switchblade, it is noted that the band seems happy and relaxed, despite the current state of Murdoc. This comes alongside many posters and even a shirt, saying “SAVE US FROM HIM”. While what exactly this statement means in terms of the current Gorillaz phase, is still being discussed by fans, it is left wondering if the bandmates are a bit happier with their new green friend, rather than their old one?

THE NOW NOW will be out June 29th and is available for pre-order now.
