Ahead of Indiana Jones 5, screenwriter David Koepp has revealed during a talk with EW.com that Shia LaBeouf’s character of Mutt Williams will not be appearing.
“Harrison plays Indiana Jones, that I can certainly say. And the Shia LaBeouf character is not in the film.”
This change doesn’t come as a shock, as LaBeouf’s Mutt (Jones son, Henry Jones III) was not received well all around. That added alongside with LaBeouf’s current pubic actions (including a public drunkenness arrest), it might be a while before we see Mutt again.
