KOKEKOKKO! Season 1 Of ‘Rooster Fighter’ Is Getting A Limited Edition Blu-ray Set

KOKEKOKKO! Rooster Fighter‘s first season is getting a limited-edition Blu-ray release next month that includes a special steelbook and hardcover book.

“Humanity is on the verge of collapse after the demonic Kiju descend without warning, laying waste to cities and crushing all in their path; resistance fails, hope fades, things look bad until a lone rooster steps forward with razor-sharp spurs.”

The limited edition release includes a special steelbook case, collector’s edition packaging, and a 135-page art booklet that includes chapters 32 & 33 of the manga.

Rooster Fighter is illustrated and written by Shu Sakuratani. An action-comedy set in a world regularly attacked by mutant demons, it follows Keiji, a rooster seeking revenge. Armed with fast reflexes, claws, his beak, and a mighty rooster crow, he aims to slay the demon who stole his family from him (and will be taking down every demon he meets along the way). The anime adaptation is directed by Daisuke Suzuki, written by Hiroshi Seko, with music by Tetsuya Talahashi, animation by Sanzigen, and production by Viz Media Hero’s.
