The Final Season of ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ Gets August Release Date and New Trailer

The third and final season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place will premiere next month, bringing a close to this chapter of the Russo’s story, its new trailer reminding fans of last season’s shocking reveal and a first look at a surprise return.

Wizards of Waverly Place is a Disney Channel comedy series following a family of wizards juggling their regular and magical lives in NYC’s Greenwich Village. Running for four seasons, the series was created by Todd J. Greenwald and starred Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals-Barrera, and David DeLuise.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is a sequel series to Wizards of Waverly Place. Set 15 years after the events of the previous Wizards series, it follows an adult Justin Russo as he navigates being a parent and his career as a teacher at a regular school. His life changes when his sister drops off a young, troublesome wizard named Billie for him to mentor. The series is created by Todd J. Greenwald and stars Janice LeAnn Brown, Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, Taylor Cora, Mimi Gianopulos, and David Henrie. Selena Gomez, Maria Canals-Barrera, and David DeLuise featured as guest stars.

Season 3 of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place premieres on August 4th on the Disney Channel, and will be available to stream the next day on Disney+.
