Vol. 1 of Boichi’s Cowboy Manga, The Marshal King, Gallops to Shelves Next Month

Saddle up for a story filled with desperados and the lawmen trying to bring them to justice. Volume 1 of The Marshal King, the wild-west-themed manga series created by Boichi, hits shelves next month.

But instead of keeping his father’s legacy alive, he decides to enroll in the Western U.S. Marshal Training Institute! Nobody can guess his angle as he steps foot in the halls. The Marshal King is a western action-adventure series written and illustrated by Boichi (the illustrator of Dr. STONE). Set in a post-apocalyptic Wild West future, it follows Jimmu Godspeed, the son of an infamous outlaw, as he attempts to outrun his family’s legacy and bring order to a world controlled by criminals. The Marshal King has been published as a part of Jump Comics’ Shōnen Jump+ since February 2025.
