‘Fist of the North Star’ Creator Has a Special Video Message for Fatal Fury Fans

Fist of the North Star’s Kenshiro will be joining the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves playable character roster. Tetsuo Hara, the creator of the post-apocalyptic manga series, has a special message for fans new and old!

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is the seventh entry in the long-running Fatal Fury fighting game franchise. Developed by KOF Studio and published by SNK. City of the Wolves introduces a new “Rev System” that lets players enhance abilities by powering up their Rev Gauge to boost abilities, movement, and guards.

First of the North Star is a post-apocalyptic martial arts manga series written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara. Set in a world recently destroyed by a nuclear war, it follows the wandering martial artist Kenshiro (or Ken), who uses the Hokuto Shinken martial arts style, which allows him to manipulate and kill others by targeting specific contact points on the body. Despite wanting to live a simple life of peace, Kenshiro is dragged into conflict after his fiancée is taken, and his pursuit has him coming across deadly gangs and rivals. The series would get several anime adaptations from Toei Animation and has become an anime staple.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
