A New Playable Character for ‘BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION’ Will Be Revealed At EVO 2026

Arc System Works has announced that a brand-new playable character for BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION will be announced at EVO 2026.

BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION is the fourth entry in the BlazBlue main game series. A 2D fighting game developed by Arc System Works, it features 37 playable characters from across the series. The series is well known for its dynamic, vibrant combat, character designs, and “Astral Heat” finishing moves. Alongside the main games, there have been several spin-offs, an anime series, manga, novels, and an audio series.

EVO (The Evolution Champion Series) is an annual fighting game tournament featuring games from numerous franchises. The 2026 EVO will be from June 26-28.

BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION is available on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs.
