007 First Light is an upcoming action-adventure game developed and published by IO Interactive. Based on the iconic James Bond franchise, it is set early in the career of the iconic secret agent as he first joins the 00 program. The game will blend stealth mechanics and gunplay, with special gadgets, fast vehicles, and action-packed scenes. The game promises to let players use their tools and wits to approach missions in various ways.

IO Interactive is the same devs behind the Hitman games, meaning they know how to create engaging stealth experiences.

James Bond is a long-running media franchise created by Ian Fleming. Focused on the titular James Bond, aka “007,” a British secret service agent, the series began as a series of novels before being adapted into numerous movies, shows, radio dramas, comics, and more. At the time of writing, there have been 25 main James Bond movies.

007 First Light will be available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S, and PC via Steam on May 27, 2026, with the digital deluxe edition available one day early.
