Daft Punk has released an official music video for their 2005 song “Human After All” on the 5th anniversary of the group’s split.

Human After All was released in 2005. While there was originally an intent to make a full music video for the song, they used the original footage to create the film Daft Punk’s Electroma in 2006. This video shows the full song and follows Daft Punk as they pass through a town of robot people at different stages of life. The video was edited by Daft Punk’s creative director, Cédric Hervet, and written by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo & Thomas Bangalter (the duo behind Daft Punk), who also handled the instruments and produced the song. Nilesh Patel worked as the Engineer, with production by Cédric Hervet & Gildas Loaëc.

Daft Punk was an electronic music duo founded in 1993 by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo & Thomas Bangalter. Through their unique combination of genres and intermixing of storytelling and sci-fi futurism themes, they become worldwide sensations. They would disband in 2021.

This is not the first post-Daft Punk fun that fans have gotten since their split, as in recent years, we have seen streams and remasters of their animated musical Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5tyem and their addition to the video game Fortnite as an experience, among the release of previously unheard demos and outtakes.

Fans can check out the Human After All official music video on YouTube.
