Get ready for an elegantly stylish fight as the latest Death Battle features Devil May Cry‘s iconic demon hunter, Dante, facing off against fiery swordsman Clive Rosfield, the protagonist of Final Fantasy XVI.

Death Battle is a web series where fictional characters are pitted against each other, starting with a researched look into the characters’ abilities and histories, followed by an animated fight sequence that uses the data to decide the outcome. The series has become a fun example of that classic nerd argument about who would win in a fight. The series’ future was at risk after the closure of its parent company, Rooster Teeth. However, Death Battle is now crowdfunded and supported through Kickstarter and YouTube memberships, and is owned by its co-creators.
