Universal Studios Japan is celebrating the summer with a special One Piece seasonal event featuring a live show, themed food, and a story ride!

“The Straw Hat Pirates, along with all the other pirates and naval forces, are finally here for an all-star, super-exciting summer!

From a live show that brings the fierce battles of fierce warriors to a realistic, story ride where you’ll be caught up in the epic voyage of the three captains, to Sanji’s restaurant filled with love, there’s an exciting lineup of experiences to enjoy!

Enter the world of One Piece this summer for a memory you’ll surely never forget!”

The One Piece Premier Summer 2025 event will run until October 6th, and is a seasonal overlay. The event lineup includes:

• One Piece Premier Show 2025 – “The biggest summer battle, filled with fierce competitors, begins!”

• Sanji’s Pirate Restaurant Be thrilled by Sanji’s special hospitality! – “Enjoy the exquisite French cuisine that will make you dream.”

• One Piece x Story Ride – “A thrilling adventure across the ocean with the three captains! You’ve been tasked with guiding Luffy and Usopp, who are sailing in search of tasty meat, to an island. Then Law and Kid show up, and the race escalates into a high-speed sea race between three captains! The navy even shows up, and the voyage is thrown into total panic!”

Seasonal Overlays is when the park installs seasonal attractions and show overlays over existing rides, dining experiences, and shows. Previous seasonal overlays include Attack on Titan, Detective Conan, Final Fantasy, Monster Hunter, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Sailor Moon, and Shin Godzilla.

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is located in Osaka, Japan. It is one of the six Universal Studios theme parks, being the first one opened outside of the United States.
