Overwatch Releases Anime Short Revealing More About The Omnic Crisis

Overwatch’s lore is rich, with a cast of characters sporting a web of connections as they deal with world-changing events and moments. For a long time, fans had questions about the depth of The Omnic Crisis. Thankfully a new anime short posted to the official Overwatch will shed some light.

Overwatch is an FPS hero shooter where players take control of a cast of characters filling different combat roles, facing off in team combat. The sequel game, Overwatch 2, was released in 2022 and is free to play with a battle pass system.

A great way to learn more about the world of Overwatch, this is only the first part, with GENESIS Part Two: Innocence, premiering July 13 at 9AM PT on the PlayOverwatch Youtube Channel.

Overwatch 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC.
