HIDIVE has announced that they will be bringing Tsurune The Movie: First Shot, the movie based on the Tsurune franchose to theaters this April!
Tsurune is a Japanese light novel series written by Kotoko Ayano, with illustrations by Chinatsu Morimoto. It follows a high schooler Minato Narumiya and his kyūdō (the Japanese martial art of archery) club as they rise through the local ranks and aim for the championship. The series would get an anime adaption directed by Takuya Yamamura, written by Michiko Yokote, with music by Harumi Fūki & Masaru Yokoyama and animation by Kyoto Animation.
Tsurune the Movie: The First Shot shows the continuing story of Minato’s kyūdō club. It is directed by Takuya Yamamura, written by Michiko Yokote & Takuya Yamamura, with music by Masaru Yokoyama, and animation by Kyoto Animation.
