Classic anime film Spirited Away is returning to North American theaters later this month as a part of this year’s Studio Ghibli Fest.
Written and directed by Academy Award-winning director Hayao Miyazaki, Spirited Away is a 2001 Japanese animated fantasy film that tells the story of Chihiro, a young girl who, after her parents are turned into pigs by a witch, must take a job in the witch’s bath house order to free them.
The film received critical acclaim from across the world and won numerous accolades. Its return to theaters gives anime fans another chance to experience this iconic movie on the big screen!
