‘Revue Starlight: The Movie’ takes center stage with a Blu-ray release this October

Revue Starlight: The Movie is making its Blu-ray debut, including a special bonus pre-order item!

“The stage emulates life and compresses it, setting free skills learned over lifetimes in brief but dazzling displays for the amusement and judgment of others. For the performers, it is the ultimate risk, and some will rise while others must fall. Nowhere is this truer than at the Seisho Music Academy, where music, dance and real weapons all come into play in the creation of the next great Star. Karen and Hikari’s destinies have been linked since a childhood promise, but their journeys here have taken very different paths. Now, after Hikari leaves, Karen must discover who she is without her opposite, while Hikari must rediscover her own course. Revue Starlight: The Movie Blu-ray release includes the film in both English & Japanese with English subtitle audio options and a special Japanese promo video, with those who pre-order from the Sentai Store getting an absolutely cute exclusive slipcase.

Revue Starlight is a Japanese media franchise created by Bushiroad, Nelke Planning, and Kinema Citrus that includes stage musicals, an anime musical series & films, and a mobile game. The series tells the story of several groups of girls as they train and grow as performers. Revue Starlight: The Movie was directed by Tomohiro Furukawa, written by Tatsuto Higuchi, with music by Tatsuya Kato and Yoshiaki Fujisawa, with animation by Kinema Citrus.

Revue Startlight: The Movie will be available on October 25, 2022. You can pre-order it now from Sentai Filmworks.
