Spider-Man to be inducted into the Comic-Con Museum Character Hall of Fame this July!

This year marks the 60th anniversary for the iconic web-slinging super-hero, Spider-Man, and Marvel & the Comic-Con Museum will celebrate it by inducting him into the museum’s Character Hall of Fame this July!

The Comic-Con Museum is San Diego Comic-Cons year-round space devoted to everything comics! Featuring exhibits, panels, cosplay contests, movie screenings, artist resources, and educational programming meant to encourage learning, the space takes the power of comics and comic fans to help others.

Spider-Man first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 in 1962 and was created Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. He will be the fourth inductee into the Museums Character Hall of Fame, joining Batman, Pacman, and Wonder Woman. It will be held at the Night at the Comic-Con Museum event, a special event that will take place on Comic-Con’s Preview Night, July 20, 2022.
