HIDIVE has announced that they will be streaming the HD remaster of the classic anime series NANA starting later this month!
“Two twenty-somethings share nothing in common but their first name, but a chance meeting on a Tokyo-bound train sets Nana Komatsu and Nana Osaki on a collision course with destiny. Nana Komatsu, a love-at-first-sight dreamer, aims to find happiness in the big city. Nana Osaki, neo punk rocker, pursues her ambitions of musical stardom and worldwide fame. As their fates intertwine, they chase their dreams — until the harsh realities of life in metropolitan Tokyo threaten to tear everything apart.”

NANA is an adaption of the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Ai Yazawa. It tells the story of two very different young women named Nana, who, due to unique circumstances, end up sharing an apartment. What follows is their story of growing up, chasing what they really want in life, and figuring out who they are. The series was well-received by manga fans and went on to get an anime adaption, two live-action films, and a video game. The HD remaster was originally released on a special limited edition steelbook Blu-ray by Sentai Filmworks earlier in the year, with a regular release coming out on May 17th.
NANA HD Remaster will premiere on HIDIVE on May 20th, with new episodes heading to the platform every Friday. You can add NANA Complete Collection to your treasure trove when it releases on May 17th by pre-ordering it now.
