A time-traveling action-packed tennis story (why is this series so perfect), the movie is directed by Hiroshi Koujina, written by Takehiko Hata & original series creator Takeshi Konomi, and animated by The Monk Studios and Keica with cooperation by Studio Kai. It stars Junko Minagawa & Takashi Matsuyama.
The Prince of Tennis was created by mangaka Takeshi Konomi. It follows the story of preteen tennis prodigy Ryoma Echizen as he attends the prestigious Seishun Academy, quickly building a legend as an amazing tennis player. The series is considered a classic, over 60 million copies and continually topping best anime series lists.
