The HBO adaption of The Time Traveler’s Wife has gotten a May 15th release date and new trailer, letting excited viewers get a peek at the sci-fi romance.
The Time Traveler’s Wife is based on a novel by Audrey Niffenegger. It tells the story of a man born with a genetic disorder that causes him to travel through time unpredictably, and his wife, who must deal with the trauma of his sudden absences and appearances throughout her life. The novel was adapted in 2009 into a movie starring Rachel McAdams, Eric Bana, Arliss Howard, and Ron Livingston. It was directed by Robert Schwentke.
The HBO adaption is directed by David Nutter and stars Rose Leslie and Theo James.
The Time Traveler’s Wife premieres on May 15th on HBO Max.
